Dr. Mogavero sponsored the 2004 USTA Pro Futures Tennis Tourament in Laguna Niguel. Former orthodontic patient Bo Harman (left rear) appeared to promote helmet safety at the Health Fair, which promoted raised money for a head injury foundation. Bo completely recovered from a serious head injury.

Dr. Mogavero spent a week sailing from Honolulu to San Diego aboard the USS Nimitz (CVN 68) aircraft carrier, on a “Tiger Cruise”, where Dr. Mogavero gave a presentation on Orthodontics in a Civilian Practice to the Dental Department. Dr. Mogavero was invited as a guest by Dental Commander John Evered. During the week, Dr. Mogavero was given an opportunity to view flight operations from the carrier first-hand.
